Students first, education second, change third – I believe that a great instructor must make the students' well-being and success a priority. Student success means that I am successful. I cannot achieve success until I connect with the student on a professional and personal level; when I do so, I gain the student's trust, which in turn allows the student to entrust their academic well-being to me. When this happens, the learning and education process can begin.

I am a former Financial Officer for Albany State University Foundation, a former Financial Consultant for Premiere Consulting Group, LLC, a former Academic Dean with Strayer University and a former Dean of Students at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am most recently serving as a Contributing Faculty Member with Walden University’s Doctor of Business Program where I teach finance courses and mentor doctoral students through the doctoral process.
