Teaching Philosophy

I have a philosophy that I want every student to succeed. My participation in their learning process is to maximize their performance. When students encounter difficulty I work to find alternate explanations of the material to match the students’ learning styles. I like to bring my personal and observed experiences in the classroom to help students understand the application of the material that they are learning. Whenever possible, I use active learning techniques in my classroom.

Professional Profile

I was Director of Operations in General Electric and International Rectifier. I was the Director of Technology at Northeast Maritime Institute. I have held positions in Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. I have supported the legal departments in regard to patenting and ensuring International Traffic in Arms Regulations compliance. I have experience in the design and manufacture of components for use in Space, Military and Commercial systems.
