Teaching Philosophy

Teaching is not transmitting information from a teacher to a student or something that can be accomplished by reading text. Teaching is leading an interactive process where people work together to turn information into knowledge and help each other prepare to achieve practical goals.

Professional Profile

I spent 31 years with the DuPont Company and worked in a variety of businesses including crop protection chemicals, food processing, non-wovens and medical products fields. I have been a Master Black Belt since 1999. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt it has been my privilege to train and certify hundreds of Green, Black and Master Black Belts globally. I have coached trainees through the successful completion of projects in areas as diverse as manufacturing, marketing, sales, finance, R&D and customer service.
